On 3rd and 5th June, MMU English student Pel Pearcey and MMU photography graduate Bridget Johnson, who has worked as the project photographer and coordinated all aspects of flatwork for the exhibition, ran a two day workshop at Manchester Academy.
With the help of Academy art teachers Bob Smith and Pete Formela (who will exhibit his own work at the MMU Schools Exhibition), students worked in a variety of media. They also took home disposable cameras, with which to photograph their lives, homes and areas for a photographic collage for the final exhibition.
